it does seem to be a common trouble that longer watch chains are heavy and chunky, while daintier watch chains are often too short to be worn as a necklace. two shorter watch chains in the same hue and karat showed up and it felt like the obvious solution to have them combined into a longer chain by an expert jeweler.
watch chains are so versatile because they have dog clip clasps at either end, which present plenty of styling possibilities, including a lariat style
one dog clip swivels and the other is stationary. they're approximately the same size, both marked 10k, but slightly different designs
the curb chain segments are soooo slinky and don't kink up on themselves
it's a true one of a kind created from combining two antique chains
solid 10k rosy gold
photos were taken in multiple lighting scenarios, which will result in variations in the gold's hue and brilliance

some minor bends to the longer twisted links
This is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
